Today at school started with a maths class. Maths is one of my favourite subjects because I like solving problems. After maths was science, and we did an experiment about plants. It was fun to observe the plants and record our findings in our notebooks. Recess was next, and all my friends and I played soccer on the field. Lunch was tasty as always - I ate a sandwich and fruit. My final class of the day was art. We learned about shading techniques and I tried my best to draw a  self-portrait,  Now I'm home and looking forward to relaxing! It was a fun day at school.

My best friend is named Emma. She has long brown hair and always wears colourful clothes. Emma is very funny and kind. She always finds a way to make me laugh when I'm feeling down. Even though we don't always like all the same things, Emma listens to me and supports me in everything I do. She is caring and shares her toys and snacks. I love hanging out with Emma on the playground because we come up with the best games together and have a lot of fun. She is the best friend anyone could ask for.

Dear Mrs. Chan,

Thank you so much for taking our class to the zoo last Friday. All the animals were so interesting to see! I especially loved the lions and monkeys. It was so cool to watch the lions resting in the shade and see how fast the monkeys swung from tree to tree. I had a blast learning new facts about the animals from you. Thank you for making the field trip fun and educational. I'm already looking forward to our next class trip!
