3) Mango is considered a "hot" and "damp" food, while shellfish is "damp" in TCM. Eating them together can increase dampness in the body and potentially trigger itchy skin conditions.
4) According to TCM practitioner Novena Xie, drinking tea boiled with ginger and tangerine peel can help warm up the body and alleviate stomachaches caused by "cold" food combinations.
5) Drinking honeysuckle and chrysanthemum tea can help cool down the stomach and lungs for individuals who develop a rash or acne from consuming excessive "hot" food pairings.
